The 13th Warrior |

The much delayed Antonio Badaris Viking flick has arrived in the multiplexes. The movie begans with fast telling of a back story that leads us to a band of Vikings. Antonio plays a non warrior thrown in a den of armour clad fighters. |

With twelve of them infact, thus making him the reluctant 13th warrior. The movie centers around these terrible monsters that ride in with the fog. These brave warriors must travel in their Viking ship across the waters and face these creatures that are known as the eaters of the dead. SPOILER WARING: These creatures that are suposed to be so viscious and unstopable are nothing more than a tribe of canables. Not mysterious creatures that live in fog. What a fucking disapointment! |

The movie does have cool visuals and scenery. It was neat to see a movie of this nature but the lack of character development in the warriors and Antonio made the film fall flat. Some of the fight scenes were good but most of them envolving the eaters of the deads where darkly lit. Only rent this clunker if you really like sword clanging movies without a well laid out plot and don't give a rats ass about the characters! Rating ** |
