It seems like "punks" these days have lost what it means to be punk. People dress in punk garb, listen to the punk bands, and think that that makes them punk. But once they have "punked" themselves.. they form little cliques. All they are doing is taking societies messed up values of judging people, claiming to be different, but using the same SHIT HOLE MESSED UP WAY OF THINKING once more. Being punk isn't about shutting people out. It's not about judging people by what bands they like or how much they know. It's about looking at the world with a different perspective. It's about abandoning soceities way of judging people's worth on things like money, clothes, and looks. Punk is about making a statement against this stupid order in the world.
