Amelia Minchin (Rusty Shwimmer)
Amelia is Miss Minchin's younger sister and is almost an exact opposite of her. While Miss
Minchin is cold, stern and unfriendly, Amelia is warm, nice and kind even though she is
constantly being bullied by her older sister. She also works in her sister's seminary as
a teacher and is in love with the shy milkman Frances (Time Winters), who has a similar attraction
towards her as well.
With a little encouragement and advice from Sara, Amelia decides to run away with Frances
and leave her sister's seminary.
