1. The First Bon Jovi Album - Bon Jovi (1984) - 'Runaway' hit the charts and brought the album to the gold status (50000 copies sold).
2. BJ became the world's most successful rock'n'roll band, playing to 4 million people in 1989 alone and selling 25 million albums 1985-89.
3. By late 1993 'Blaze Of Glory' sold over 3 million copies was a big hit worldwide.
4. Record company Polygram had a really good year in 1994. World wide they made approx. $476 million profit selling CD's. In comparison to the previous year that's an increase of 20 percent. The best sold CD in the genre of, lets call it 'lighter music', was, not a big surprise, Bon Jovi. More than 8 million people bought the compilation album 'Cross road'.

Seven albums later, the group has amassed one gold and five platinum records, including '86's eight-million-selling #1 album "New Jersey," '92's double-platinum "Keep The Faith," which sold eight million worldwide, '94's greatest hits collection, "Cross Road," which sold more than 12 million internationally and last year's 4 million-selling, Top Ten "These Days".

14. Bon Jovi started the Unplugged revolution in 1987 when Jon & Richie performed "Living On A Prayer" and "Wanted Dead Or Alive" on the MTV Awards show acousticlally. It was such a success that the channel soon after started "Unplugged". If this performance never took place, the unplugged revolution wouldn't be found.
