i've seen the feelers play 4 or 5 times, the latest being in methven in the latest tour. we had a bit of drama before the gig cause the police had been through twice already that nite checking for I.D., and being 19...i was a little worried.  i got in ok, but they asked my 2 flatmates who accompanied me, so they were refused.....at this point i was a little worried......i went up into the club, and thought i'd find matt....i found matt and he came downstairs to have a bit of a chat......and while we were chatting away, he went over and
talked to their manager, tim, and then tim went and talked to the guys on the door...and subsequesntly we were let in.....!!!...was rather pleased...!....
when the feelers finally got on at about 10.20...they started  straight away with 'from space with love', which they always do  nowdays....the sample began, and then ripper bass-line pounded away, and on it went........it took a couple of songs for the crowd to get goin', but once they did, there was
no stopping us...especially when pressure man began.......the played for an hour of non-stop amazing mayhem...it was brilliant.....they finished with a brilliant version of 'venus', which i hadn't heard live before, and even included another slow song, 'float', which i also hadn't heard live......the best song of the nite though was 'pull the strings'....this song is their best live song, and it's  amazing.....the album version though is techno-ish....which  took a little to get used too.......they played all the album tracks minus 1, and a couple of b-sides.......the only sour points of the  gig was the bastard bouncer, who got really agro when he shouldn't have and started shoving everyone....matt agreed with me afterwoods that he shouldn't be a bouncer an amazing nite for all...and can't wait for my next feelers live experience........
