met the band in Melbourne at the Esplanade Hotel in St Kilda, on
March 26 1999. They played a set made up of all the songs off Supersystem and the beginning of an Exponents song for the kiwi's in the crowd. They were so amazing.I spoke to them in the bar afterwards and you can just tell by their demeanor that they were born to be superstars. I think Australia has begun to embrace them the way New Zealand has. The thing that amazes me about their album is that it gets better every time you hear it. The sign of a great album. The drumstick signed by James Reid that I got will be a collectors item. Go the All Blacks! |
