Some people refer to it as a curse, others as a bug. I would like to call it a disease. But first let me correct myself, I didn't catch that disease. Nope, not from anybody in that cramped van on that fateful tuesday afternoon. The disease was with me since my conception, I just ignored its presence, its symptoms. A disease I inherited from my dad and my mom. The disease is thinking, feeling, seeing, touching and then putting these things into words. The need to write...is what bugged me that morning. Hence, writers@work crept out of me,metastasized my whole outer covering...oozing out of control. Now I feel I must put these things into readable symbols, not just my own -- not just my inner thoughts... my feelings. I need to share to you what I think and feel. It's my sole cure. I think... Read poetries, stories, essays, whatever that has to do with words. Read it here. Most of the works published here are my own. But you can be part of writers@work too. If you carry the same disease then your creations are most welcome here. Submit your work now.Whether it be musings about your latest fling, a recent tragic moment in your life, anything. If it means that much to you, it will certainly touch us too. Please don't forget to give me a personal profile (i.e. profession, age, country, address, hobby). Because writers@work is very much keen on protecting your "intellectual property rights", we have designed an agreement form that both webmaster and you will abide to. If you're interested to know how we will protect your intellectual property read it here. Here are some icons you should familiarize with when you enter again the main portion of writers@work. This may or may not help you navigate through the site. This is the writers@work workmap located at the main. The map will make it easier for you to go through all the sections of writers@work. There is also a set of text links at the bottom for convenience. Clicking on the image will open a new window for each link (e.g. intro page (you're here). After you've finished with the whole section close it and use the map again to go to the next section (e.g. feature page) and the next. After you have finished a particular section, for example=feature, you can go back to the main menu to go to the next section. Keep using this along with the "next" and "back" text links alongside this image. The "next" and "back" links will only take you through one section. You may use this in the event that you closed the workmap by accident or by choice. I highly recommend that you use a Netscape and Explorer browser. Some of the pages have javascripts. Go to www.netscape.com or msn.com for further info on how to get these browsers. Continue with your journey. |
