Here's part two of my collection. Got this is August: Susan gave me the box of Morning Musume (very popular girl pop group) pencils, one notebook, and the newspaper in person when she came back to visit in August. In the mail, I got a Groove Adventure Rave notebook, a HUGE manga, some bindi jewels, Sanrio suckers, and a little yellow planer book. Closeup of a few of the pencils: The manga: Sorry about the reflection from my flash. This thing is the size of a phone book, and come printed on pink, yellow/white, and blue paper. The cover says it only cost 370 yen. (If I remember correctly, $1 US is equal to around 100-150 yen, depending on however business is going.) It features about a dozen different artists and stories aimed at older boys, mostly about fantasy, fighting, action, and sports. Here are a few sample pages: 01 02 03 Thank you Susan!
