"In some ways, you can parallel Jonathan to
Becky (Herbst, Liz) in that he is now on that
threshold of adulthood. He is an amazing
combination of boy and man," casting director
Mark Teschner says. "He brings his innocence
and knowingness to everything he does, and it
transcends even the way he looks."
Jackson’s looks certainly helped land him his first
commercials, but it was definitely his ability that
earned him a three-year contract on GH as Luke
and Laura’s son, Lucky, at the ripe old age of 11.
Today, with two Daytime Emmys to his credit, it is
Jackson’s sensitive and mature approach to his
character that wins him acting accolades and
meaty roles, as evidenced by his role opposite
Michelle Pfeiffer in the upcoming film The Deep End of the Ocean.
His expressive, full mouth and the straightforward lock of his eyes create a sincerity that is both
exciting to watch on-screen and rare to behold off-screen. Top it off with a precocious sense of
spirituality and integrity, and you have one beautiful 16-year old.
