June 9, 1999

GH may have recently lost Lucky Spencer but his altor ego Jonathan Jackson is in Toronto (Ontario, Canada) shooting a movie. Soap Dish Elaine Lorring persisted. And waited most of the day to get an exclusive interview with the teenage award emmy winner hunk. Here is Elaine Lorring with this edition of Soap Dish.

Elaine Lorring *shows clips of Jonathan on the set of Purple Haze*
This is Jonathan Jacksons first role since wraping up his 6 year stint on GH and leaving the role a month ago.It is a made TV film called "Purple Haze" starring Joe Beth Williams and Canadian actor Collin Fedor as his parents. Jonathan plays Max Hanson, a rug addicted hockey player in this disfuctional family.

Jonathan: "Max is kinda of a fairly average kid. He had you know a nice home, middle class family but her really doesn't have a stronge sense of who he is. It looks like he has a great relationship with his family but under neath it he doesn't and then he falls in love with this wild girl who kind of opens up a whole new area of his life and he goes down hill."

Elaine Lorring: The character of Lucky Spencer was written off GH when he aparently dies in a fire. But the fans know Lucky is alive, abducted and being held by the evil Fasion.

Jonathan Jackson: "It was a bitter sweet thing leaving you know. It kinda felt like the right thing to do ah I am going to miss it. I alraedy miss it. It didn't really hit me then. I mean I was doing it for so long and for such a long perfiod of my life. It didn't really feel like I was leaving even though I knew I was. I think I was in denial a little bit."

Elaine Lorring: Will he ever return to the soap??

*BIG SMILE ON JJ'S FACE* "I don't know? I don't know? I mean I really love working on the show. I love working with Tony and Genie and all the other actors. It is definitly a possibility."
