Jonathan Jackson (Lucky) may take some time off GH this spring to
appear in Patriot, a film that also may star Harrison Ford. Jackson,who side with Michelle Pfeiffer in The Deep End Of The Ocean, is in talks with Sony Pictures to play one of the film's leads.
Despite the fact that Ocean doesn't hit theaters until Friday, March 12th the buzz about Jackson's performance is spreading. "There are three films on the table right now, but Jonathan hasn't made a decision which one he wants to do" says the actor's manager, Tony Monziotti, adding that Patriots is on top of Jackson's list.But Monziotti explains Patriots' producers are waiting to cast the male lead before singing Jackson. "The people at Sony have that the setting of the adult lead has a direct bearing on who will play the son" he says, adding that Ford is one of the names being tied to the project. "everybody is saying that Jonathan is on top of the list to play the son. Jonathan wants this role badly" How does all of this affect Jackson's GH schedule? "If a picture comes up with sufficient notice, we'll notify GH and Jonathan will have an out to do the picture" he says "it's part of his contract"
