The Soaps In Depth Forum on CompuServe recently hosted another segment of it's "Ask The Stars" series, and General Hospital's Jonathan Jackson was our feature guest. Following is an excerpt from his Q&A.
Dear Jonathan,
I really respect....the decisions Lucky has made regarding premarital sex. If you were in a relationship similar to Lucky and Liz's in real life, would you just ignore all of the sexual tension going on and wait?
I wouldn't ignore the sexual tension. I would talk about it and reaffirm my decision.
Dear Jonathan,
I admire you for speaking so frankly about your faith. Can you tell me when and how your relationship with God came to be and how it has changed your life?
I was raised a Christian. There wasn't one specific moment where I began a relationship with God, it has been a gradual growing process. Having a relationship with God gives you a peace that you can't get from anything else.

Now that you're actively pursuing a movie career, have you signed on for any new films? I look forward to seeing you often on the big screen!
I just signed on to do a movie for ABC called Purple Haze. After that, I'll be pursuing a role in a feature film.

All of the situations your character have seen in, what scenario has been your favorite? Least favorite? Thank-you for the enjoyment you've given me every afternoon. Good lucky to you, you will be missed!
It is too hard to choose a favorite storyline. Probably my least favorite was the storyline with the computer game, Timoria.

Can you give me some information on your new CD?
Scarlet Road's new CD is called God Candy. There are 16 original songs on the album. I write the songs, sing and play guitar. My brother, Richard, sings and plays drums. My dad, Rick, did bass, and my uncle, Gary, did guitar.

As a guitar player, who are your biggest influences?
The Edge from U2 and Pink Floyd.

ABC owns the song , so currently I do not know that it is available.

Where are you from, and how did you get into acting?
My home is Washington state. I took acting classes at ABC kids ‘N Teens, and then moved to LA area to being auditioning.

Do you have an idea when you movie True Rights will be released?
The movie is still in postproduction. When it is complete, it will be shopped to a distributor and taken to film festivals.
