At 16, GENERAL HOSPITAL's Jonathan Jackson already boasts an extracurrucilar resume most soap stars performers would kill for. Jackson has hit te big screen big-time, acting opposite Michelle Pfeiffer in the recently released movie "The Deep End Of The Ocean".
Jackson plays Pfeiffer's son Vincent, a sidilusioned teenager whose already-troubled life is thrown for a loop when his long-lost brother returns to the family. "It's a very challending role," says the young actor. "Most teenage roles in Hollywood are sterotyped. This is one of the rare roles where there is depth to it.
For her part, Pfeiffer describes Jackson's work as "exhilarating;" she was especially struck by the uncanny resemblance betweem herself and her co-star. "He looks so much like me, it was kind of freaky,"she has said. "When Jonathan and I read together, it was like he was my own son. And we just went to each other in only the way that a mother and son could do." Of course, that wasn't much of a stretch for Jackson who is always in the throes of one parental conflict or another in Port Charles.
