Recently, 15 actors from the six West Coast daytime dramas got together to play for their favorite charities on WHEEL OF FORTUNE. The episodes will air the week of February 7, and are being done in conjunction with Soap City.com.
GH's Rebecca Herbst played the game from her abode and had the added advantage of being on the show's set before. "I was here last year as an alternate, but didn't get to go on." relates Herbst, whose winnings went to the charity Jessie's Cause, a program that brings awareness to pregnant women about Strep B. "It's the number-one infectious killer among newborns," notes Herbst. "Over 2000 babies a year die from it and it can be treated with an antibiotic."
