With the reviews this flick has been getting, the expectations were low, but it delivered above and beyond all hopes, questions, and desires for a quick bit of raunchy humor. Basically, Austin Powers, the 60's man of mystery is back and in full swing. This sequel delivers all the laughs of the first Austin Powers, and even more sick jokes than before. Basically, the plot is rather unimportant in this movie, but the mere jokes were enough to make it an excellent movie! Furthermore, a single actor's ability to carry a movie so unbelievably far (in Mike Myers) is simply amazing.

In general, Austin Powers the Spy Who Shagged Me, is funny. There's no doubt about that. With jokes like "I shall name this laser... the 'death star,'" and comebacks like "Ok.. DARTH... yeah... that's original... (cough) RIP OFF," the jokes are so blunt and simple that it's simply hilarious! The way Dr. Evil is portrayed is just histarical as well! Actually, Dr. Evil is almost, no, he IS more likable than Austin Powers with his hilarious character! I also must admit that without Seth Green (Scott), this flick would NOT be the same! Scott, as most would know, is Dr. Evil's "love child." However, he seems to disappoint his father in being.. "not evil enough." As a result, the family bicker is just hilarious!

However, one must admit that at times, the jokes could get a little raunchy and disgusting. For instance, NO ONE WANTED TO SEE "FAT BAS" WITH HIS SHIRT OFF! EWWWWW! GROSS! SICK, SICK AND DOUBLE SICK! Secondly, the fact that Austin Powers is so... sex crazed is a little annoying as well. I mean.. there IS a limit to that staying funny.. it might have just been a little overdone. Nonetheless, the randomness of the film was actually charming. The fact that all past plots could be destroyed in a single second, kept the movie intriguing.

In perfect honesty, there's really nothing left to say.. I mean.. come on... it's Austin Powers. However, let's just end on this note: Austin Powers the Spy Who Shagged Me is simply Shagadelic! I mean.. yeah baby yeah!
