Episode Summary

The episode begins with Dawson and Joey making out (I think at the ruins, but am not sure). It seems that the couple have had a hard time trying to find privacy after Dawson's parents have told them they may not be alone together in the Leery house without the parents' knowing. Joey begins to question the romantics of making out on the ground of the park/ruins, temporarily stopping their make-out session. (See Picture 1 Row 1)
Before school Dawson goes with Mitch, his father, to look at the prospect of land for his restaurant. To Dawson's surprise the land-owner is Tamara Jacobs. When Dawson gets to school, he repeatedly tries to tell Pacey about Tamara's return (sorry, I had to) to Capeside, but Pacey is preoccupied.
Jen, still depressed over the Dawson incident(s), goes on a large shopping spree with Abby. While taking a break to eat at a local restaurant Abby spots an older man (guest star, Joe Flanigan). (See Picture 2 Row 1). Abby (literally) throws herself at Vincent, inviting him to eat with them and finding out he is a fisherman at the local dock. Even though it seems as if only Abby is interested, the fisherman finds more interest in Jen.
At school, Pacey notices that Andie is carrying a stack of movies, one of which is Dumbo. Suprisingly, instead of berating Andie for this movie choice, Pacey agrees that it is a good movie. He then asks Andie to hang out with him after school. While the two are walking in the downtown Capeside area, Pacey sees Tamara and the two exchange uncomfortable hello's. Pacey then ditches Andie (leaving her standing there, *sigh*, honestly) and follows Tamara.
Joey takes Dawson along to an art lecture. The person giving the lecture is actually Laura, Joey's mentor for the econ project. Joey seems enthralled with the lecture whereas Dawson seems rather not interested. Laura invites Joey to an art class she is teaching and Joey accepts, reluctantly. At the class, Joey is praised by Laura for her drawings and confesses that her mother enjoyed drawing before her death. (See Picture 3 Row 1)
ANdie shows up at Pacey's house to ask about homework, supposedly. She turns the converssation to Pacey's love interests past and present. She eventually admits that she has a small crush on Pacey and then swears Dawson to secrecy. (See Picture 4 Row 1)
Meanwhile Pacey approaches Tamara who is at the beach. Not much of a conversation is exchanged and he leaves a bit unsatisfied. He later admits to Dawson that he hasn't gotten over Tamara yet.
While Joey is drawing Dawson makes a comment about Joey's "hobby" of drawing which makes Joey angry. Back at the Icehouse Bessie let's Joey off to go see an art exhibit and encourages her to take Jack. Joey is surprised to find that Jack is an art enthusiast. (See Picture 5 Row 1)
Dawson shows up at the art exhibit in an attempt to apologize to Joey. Even though Dawson is trying to make peace with her, she doesn't completely accept his apology.
Abby and Jen go to the docks to find Vincent. They do and Abby makes some rude and obnoxious comments which cause Vincent to lash out with a few unkind remarks about Abby. While they are leaving Vincent tells Jen that he thinks she's different and shows his interest in her. Abby takes this as Jen betraying their friendship and berates Jen for this, leaving Jen feeling guilty.
Joey still doesn't know what is happening with her and Dawson's relationship. She shows him a drawing that she drew, it's of him. They reluctantly agree to let things wait and work out themselves.
Pacey follows Tamara into the old building that she is selling and they both realize that what they had is no more. They share one final kiss before parting their ways.
Pacey finds Andie at a local cafe and they talk while in the background Tamara pulls away.

Rating

This definitely was not one of the best episodes, I think. Joey's character seems to be getting less and less independent and more dependent upon Dawson in every episode. The best sub-plot in this was the Tamara/Pacey relationship ending. Rating: Two Stars.
