This painting was done with the specific intention of sitting beside the poster of Hitomi that is on Escaflowne Index page. You can't see the whole body but basically Van's body posture is one of quiet regret. You can see a bit of the wings. The red contrasts nicely with the blue and the background features the skeletal wings but in less detail and so up close that it really isn't obvious what they are. Anyway I was thrilled with how well this painting turned out. |
