Interview Section:
Q-Has being a Canadian Actor had any effect on you or how you are viewed by the foreign entertainment community?

A: It is an honour to be a Canadian Actor. I think I am treated equal to my competitors except in the case of Low Budget films. They will usually book locally which will save them a bundle. But in most cases if I'm what they are looking for they are willing to give me the offers whether I'm Canadian or not.

Q-Have you noticed any differences between working on a Canadian based project as opposed to a foriegn one? I so how?

A:Foreign films and Canadian projects are quite similar. You can have high budget films in Canada and you can have low budget foreign films. There just seems to be more high budget films abroad but thats probably because thats where the majority of films are being shot.

Q-Do you have any advice for "up and comming" Canadian artists trying to "make it big" in your field?

A: My advice is to first do some good work at home so you have a good demo reel. Then make sure you have an agency that provides you the opportunity to try for foreign work aswell.

Q-Do you have a favorite project? If so where was it filmed?

A: I haven't got one specific project that is my favourite. Each film I have did has really neat things about it. Some have cast that are the greatest, some have great catering, some have great location, some have great directors, some even have cute extras working on them. So you see it's hard to narrow it down to one fim that is the best.

Q-Any comments or opinions on Canadian Media?

A: Canadian media doesn't have nearly the same amount of coverage but that due to the lower amt of population. I think it's doing the best it can do. The local papers near me do a great job of publicity whenever I have things happening.

Q-Do you feel that Canadian Media is given equal or less respect and attention in the international community?

A:Canadian Media has no acknowlegement in the international community. We don't have an entertainment magazine that I know of.

Q-What does it mean to be Canadian?

A: When asked this question he just said "Canada Rocks". He's travelled a lot and still loves Canada. I think it's because of his age. He only knows Canada as home and the place where all the people that he loves live. He also thinks that being a Canadian young star gives him more opportunity than being an American Young Star. This is because so many films are being shot in Canada and they need a percentage of Canadian content. There are not many kids in his category therefore giving him an opportunity.

Q-What are your faveorite Canadian based T.V show(s), Movie(s, Music artist(s)?

A: I really like Traders and a lot of good movies have been filmed in Canada. Air Bud was awarded best childrens film in 1997. Canada can be pretty proud of all the talent they have, especially in the entertainment industry.
