Ok, I've been seeing so much contraversy going on over Nick I have decided to write my opinions on this. Whether you agree with me or not I could care less, if I offend you in anyway, I could care less. This is something I feel really strongly about!

I'm surprised some of you even consider yourselves Backstreet Boys fans. The outbursts and negative comments towards Nick have seriously shocked me. Not only are there comments about Nick, but about his girlfriend. There is some incredibly rude things about her. I need to ask-how many of you have met and gotten to know her personally?? Yes, I know that on the Carter site there was a note put up that she was abusive and so on, but Nick has written a letter denying that. Yes, it is quite obvious that these two have an on and off relationship. And no, no one really knows what happens between them. And none of it is our business anyways. Nick's personal life is just that, personal. He is a quiet person who likes to keep matters like that too himself, respect that!! I'm not saying I absolutely love his girlfriend and think she's the greatest, but I can't really judge her without knowing her. I do have my share of opinions about her, but I'll keep those too myself, as you should do as well. We should trust Nick's judgement. If he feels he wants to be with her, let him. Whether he gets hurt or not is none of our concern. I know that sounds cruel-but that is part of the reason we sometimes misjudge his girlfriend-we are scared of him being hurt, isn't that right?? Well leave him alone, he's knows best. And stop harassing him about telling us about his personal life and stop harassing his girlfriend.

Next issue is kind of tied in with the girlfriend thing. As most of you saw on MTV's Ultrasound Nick has been having some family problems too. Let him work it out with his family-not with the media. This is also and extremely personal matter. You saw on Ultrasound that he didn't want to talk about it, he felt uncomfortable. You may think 'but he's a celebrity and he knows that he needed to give up his private life.' No he doesn't. It's the fans that keep the media prying at celebrities because the media knows the fans will eat it all up. If we all stop inquiring about Nick's personal life and don't buy every issue of a magazine that says they "have the behind-the-scenes scoop" the media will back down a bit.

Next, the whole fat thing. Although this one has slowed down a bit, there is still stuff going on about it. Why do people make such a big deal out of it? Some of the humor site jokes are funny, becuase they are just jokes and have no intention on actually saying he's fat. But others seriously start to dislike Nick because of a slight weight-gain. So what if Nick Carter gained a couple of pounds? Besides that fact-he's been working out and is normal. And he was never extremely obese or anything. He's human too, adn does have feelings. How would you like it if lots of people called you fat?? Doesn't feel good does it? And if you still think he's fat, you e-mail me and I will send pictures to you proving he isn't!!

Fans get mad because Nick may not take the time to sign an autograph or visit with the fans. Ya know what? I personally don't see how he puts up with all those stupid teenyboppers(i have met some nice ones, so don't get too offended). And you need to rememebr he can't be in the best mood 24/7. If your sick or tired do you want to be around a lot of people? To add to it, alot of little people that scream in your face?? When I was at the BSB concert I was ready to turn around and seriously hurt some of those little girls!! Don't you get it?? If you scream like an idiot and jump around and push people you are just being a big pain in the ass!! PLus you drown out the wonderful music I'm trying to hear!!

All in all-just give the guy some space and respect him ok? We've all gotten so wrapped up in what goes on in his personal life and what he looks like-we forgot what this is all supposed to be about-MUSIC!! Just enjoy the music! I remember hearing "Quit Playin' Games" on the radio-I had no idea who BSB were or what they looked like, but I know I loved the music and that's all that counts!!
