When Blair's mom comes to town with a psychic friend, a distraught woman recruits him to find her kidnapped child. Ellison's powers, and patience are tested --- he wants to reject the psychic's input outright, but Sandburg wonders if his abilities are any less valid than Jim's sensory powers.
When Ellison discovers that a missing and presumed dead fugitive is alive, he is led to a manipulative FBI agent. Jim tries to reunite the family when he learns that the wrongfully imprisoned man staged his own death to protect his wife and young son.
Ellison believes that an overturned armored car that released millions of dollars onto the streets of a poor neighborhood was crashed intentionally, not by accident.
Survival A criminal mastermind escapes custody and takes Banks hostage on his way to recovering $5 million in stolen money hidden in an old mine. The guys have to catch up before Banks is killed, while fighting off a group of survivalists following the chase.
Ellison's investigation of murder and corruption at Cascade's new horserace track brings him into conflict with an East Coast racing executive --- a smug, sarcastic and superior man, who is also Jim's estranged brother.
A beautiful 20 year-old woman awakens from a 10 year coma, and reveals clues to her parent's murder long ago. Ellison and Sandburg work closely with her, trying to adjust to a mature woman with a child's knowledge and personality.
