Kate Winslet is the twenty-two year old daughter of Roger and Sally Winslet. She has two sisters, Anna and Beth, and one brother named Joss. She was born in Reading, England on October 5, 1975.

Kate has blonde hair (dyed red for Titanic) and green eyes. She stands 5' 8" tall and currently she weighs approxmatily 125 pounds. As a child, she had a weight problem and was cruelly nicknames "Blubber". As you can see, Kate didn't let childish meaness stand in the way of her dreams. About her weight, Kate says "I feel my responsibility as a successful English actress is to say to all those young women who are out there in turmoil about their weight -- 'Life is short, and it's here to be lived'."
