I am an orthopedic surgeon and a lecturer in the Department of Orthopedics, in the Faculty of Medicine, of UNIVERSITI KEBANGSAAN MALAYSIA.

The General Hospital, with 3000+ beds and a national referral centre in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, has previuosly served as a teaching hospital for our undergraduate as well as postgraduate students. We have now moved to our own hospital, Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) as of September 1997.

My special interest is in TOTAL JOINT REPLACEMENT which is the surgical replacement of diseased joints in the body, usually the knees and hips, with artificial ones.
