Principally in men:
Tumors of the mouth and the digestive tract ; tumors of the larynx,
the respiratory system , the lungs ; tumors of the sense organs ; intracranial
tumors ; tumors of the male urogenital system , prostate gland. Independent
of sex in case of acute leukemia in children as an additional therapy to
chemotherapy ; acute leukemia in addition to chemotherapy ; acute myeloid
leukemia. Plasmacytoma.
Principally in women:
Carcinoma of the mamma ; tumors of the female digestive and urogenital
systems. Carcinoma of the lungs. Carcinoma of the liver and gall bladder
and precancerous stages in women.
Independent of sex:
Tumors of the skin, melanoma and melanosarcoma ; tumors of the
lips, tongue and the throat. Seminoma and testicular teratocarcinoma ;
lymphogranulomatosis ; non-Hodgkin lymphoma ; for stimulation of the bone
marrow function.
Please note that all the three above mentioned
types of ISOREL are equally effective against any type of cancer and the
above broad classification is based on many decades of experience with
Mistletoe plants. For cancer types not listed above , any ISOREL type can
be used.
Through careful choice of the biological source material (Viscum album
/ Mistletoe) and based on a particularly careful procedure with the preparation,
avoiding every denaturing manipulation, whereby the high sensitivity of
the active tumour protein is corresponded to a high biological activity
of the ISOREL preparation is guaranteed which is Selective cancerostatic

Both these bilogical activities are available together in ISOREL which
is not available in any oncological therapy.
The improvement in the subjective state of health and the positive
effect on the general condition of the patient , the absence of appreciable
side-effects apart from minor local reactions are the essential characterstics
of the ISOREL preparation.
Inoperability arising from unwillingness of the patient to undergo surgery
or from reasons against operating in particular case. The therapeutic dose
is calculated weekly. Begin fundamentally with a low dose and increase
successively.
Stage I Tumor (T1,N0,M0) upto 2cm in diameter without
infestation of the lympathic nodules.
Introductory phase: In the first 2 weeks , 3 x 1 ampoules of
strength 60 , weekly. If it is necessary , begin with a small initial dose
and increase gradually to optimum amount. This can be achieved with packet
series I , II and III. The packet series III leads over to the tumor therapy
of strength 60. Subsequent weekly dose of 6 ampoules of strength 60
is recommended as follows :

recommended as follows :
Depending on the case , the doctor can decide to increase the weekly dose up to 20 ampoules of strength 60. The maximum dose of 7 ampoules per day can not be exceeded. As soon as the laboratory status shows standard values and tumor parameters show favourable tendency , the weekly dose can be reduced to suit the case. Laboratory progress controls such as BSR , Hb , Ery , Leuko , Mo , Eo , Lympho , LDH , Bilrubin , Y-Globulin , Tumormarker etc. should ensue regularly. Place of applicationAt a favourable location near the tumor. The place of application should
be varied , especially in the case of local reactions (redness) at the
puncture site. For the guarantee of long term therapy , the patient can
inject ISOREL himself subcutaneously , following the instruction by the
doctor. In the case of incompatibility of one of the types of ISOREL ,
change to another.
Rules for the Postoperative and Postradial Recidivation and Metastases ProphylaxisBegin the prophylactic ISOREL therapy immediately after the surgery
and radiation wherever possible.
Stage III and IV (Diagnosis at the time of surgery/radiation) Introductory phase: In the first 2 weeks , 3 x 1 ampoules of strength 60 , weekly. If it is necessary , begin with a small initial dose and increase gradually to optimum amount. This can be achieved with packet series I , II and III. The packet series III leads over to the tumor therapy of strength 60. Subsequent weekly dose of 6 ampoules of strength 60 is recommended as follows :
As nearly all recidivation appears in the first 3 years following the operation , it is recommended that the specified therapy be continued for 3 years. In the case of good results , the weekly dose can be reduced to 3 x 1 ampoule of strength 60 per week from the 4th year. In the majority of cases , the prophylactic recidivation therapy can be considered after 7th year. The doctor can decide to assign a prophylactic conservation dose of 1 ampoule of strength 60 per week , intervened by one week break from medication at the end of every month , in cases of strong tendency towards recidivation. (Carcinoma of mamma , malignant melanoma etc. ) Place of applicationIf possible , inject in the area of surgery (near the scar). In the
case of operated intestinal carcinoma and carcinoma of prostate gland ,
administer in the lower abdomen alternately left and right side. Fundamentally
, vary the puncture sites : right , left upper arm , thigh etc. Don't inject
in areas showing reaction to radiation.
Precancerous stagesISOREL treatment of precancerous stages can prevent their degeneration
and can also achieve their retardation provided they are not accessible
for surgical sanitation such as :
Combined TherapyCystostatic chemotherapy and radiation are made more tolerable by a parallel ISOREL treatment. DesensitisationIn very rare cases of allergic hypersensitivity (such as nettle-like appearances on the skin) the patient should be desensitised with strength 1. After the reaction has disappeared , treatment is continued with the packet series I , II and III 1 ampoule 3 times a week. The packet series III leads to tumour therapy of strength 60. When not to use ISORELReasons why ISOREL treatment should not be used does not exist. However, it is recommended that the medication be stopped during menstrual period and pregnancy. Side EffectsLocalised reddness at the puncture site can appear. Small increase in temperature of 1 to 1.5 degree Centigrade can be observed which disappear after 1 to 2 days. It is recommended to wait for the normalisation of the temperature before a new injection is administered. In the case of hyperthyroidism , start with low doses and increase gradually. In the case of phlebitis , do not inject in the inflammed areas. Duration of UseAs long as medical is required. There are no known harmful effects , by long term treatment. Interaction with other drugsNothing observed Directions for NutritionAll types of vegetables , above all lactic vegetables (sauerkraut) and
lactic vegetable juice (sauerkraut juice). Sour milk, butter milk, cottage
cheese , yoghurt , whole meal bread.
