When we said yes, I went to have a pre-circ exam. The doctor gave a very in depth exam during which he showed me what would be done. He stretched the foreskin with forceps to peel me back. He remarked on how tight the precipice ringed the shaft and the potential dangers involved.
The frenulum had torn many times, which he pickup immediately. I was fitted for the correct size bell after measurements were made of the foreskin with the penis hard and soft. We made arrangements.
The day came and I still was nervous. First the sanitation process and
then the local anesthetic. Well here I go "I almost got up", but then
doctor asked if I wanted my frenulum and both end frenulum attachments
removed to stop the tearing. He added that the my existing meateotomy
slit would be a little longer. Note: I had medical emergency that got me
that.
The doctor grabs the frenulum with the forceps, I did not feel a thing,
and slices from the slit to the foreskin and then stitches up the
opening. Wow, gone in flash. He slid on the bell and did the rest and it
was done. It was surreal.
I regret nothing and the wife and I are happy.
