Our Goal
The office goal is to treat all those who want to choose chiropractic as a lifestyle option. We consider chiropractic a life style choice and not just a form of Complimentary Alternative Medicine (CAM). While we like to treat headaches, back pain, and spinal misalignment, we also enjoy treating the whole patient. We feel that there are many other causes of discomfort and disease for which chiropractic can be beneficial.
We consider ourselves to be a Whole Family Chiropractic Service. We believe
that chiropractic care should begin during childhood and continue throughout
life. With the help of chiropractic care, the body can and will try to
maintain its health and vitality. We believe in the rule which states "as the
stem is bent, so grows the tree".

About the Doctor
Peter McRee, D.C., Chiropractor
Dr. McRee graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in August, 1997 with his
B.S. in Human Biology and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He graduated
Magna Cum Laude and Co-Salutatorian of his class. He was also an Omega Psi
Honors Society member. During school Dr. McRee was a Teaching Assistant in the
gross humna anatomy laboratory, neuro anatomy laboratory, and x-ray positioning laboratory.
He entered college at Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas as a pre-medical
student while working forty hours a week as a Biomedical Equipment Technician at a 275 bed Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas. In his career he has worked as a Biomedical Equipment Supervisor and Technician, electronics technician, industrial electrician, maintenance worker and laborer.
Dr. McRee has raised four children. He considers his children his
life and their health his responsibility. He has been adjusting his own
children since he began learning adjusting techniques during school. He
believes that a well adjusted spine is more forgiving that a spine that needs
repair. He also believes that an individuals life force (Qi) can be improved by appropriate treatment.
Dr. McRee also believes that the extremities need chiropractic consideration
and adjusting. "The body is like a pyramid, if we build a strong stable base,
then the structure will have a good foundation on which to rest. The feet and
legs are the bases on which we stand, therefore it only makes sense to adjust
these bases when necessary to support the entire structure."
He also utilizes Acupuncture, Basic Activator Method, Diversified Adjusting Techniques, and Trigger Point Myofascial Technique to aid in relieving pain
and to free the tissues for nurturing and healing.
His Chiropractic beliefs is "only the one who created the body can heal the
body", but adds "I only assist the Creator in the healing process". Dr. McRee
views the important things in life as God -however you envision him-, and the
health of his patients and family, "everything else is just a reward for
taking care of what gifts have been entrusted to you". He believes in what the
Wizard of Oz stated "the life of a man is not based on how much he loved, but
by how much he was loved". "If all you take care of is yourself, looking out
for number one, then how can you expect others to love, respect and accept
you?"
