Hello, this is Dan, Denise’s brother. Just a quick update on how Mom’s doing, as well as letting all of you know what’s going on with the rest of the family. Mom is doing fine (much better than the rest of us). Her physical health is great. As for the A.D., well its “moving right along”. She doesn’t really know who we are most of the time nor does she really understand what has happened with Denise. One of God’s Blessings I guess… At least where she is they are taking good care of her and she has “friends”. For that we are thankful. As for the rest of us, David and Robert (Denise’s sons), and myself, well it’s hard to believe that today marks four (6) weeks since Denise passed. They say time heals all wounds. We sure hope so. Though the emotional things we are going through is only part of it.

Since Denise was Mom’s caregiver for so many years she wasn’t able to work outside the house. If you’re a caregiver, you well know that means money goes out with hardly anything coming in. At the time of Denise’s passing, she NO money , no death insurance, and was behind on her house payments (and ALL other bills). Right now we are trying to find the money to get caught up and save Denise’s house until we can sell it, or…let them foreclose. Thank you for taking the time to read this update. But most of all, THANK YOU for allowing Denise in to your lives. Dan

Hello everyone, this is Robert. Thought I might due an update I'll I'm here. Things are going ok, I guess. This weekend we are having a garage sale at moms to try and get money to pay off her funeral. You know they are expensive! The hardest thing is going to be watching all of moms stuff walking out the door. And lets not forget my new found hated holiday, Mothers Day. Granted I have Crystal, Granny, and my mother-in-law to think of on Mothers Day but it's not the same. I have a favor for all of you, on Mothers Day I am going to go to our local beach and let a Mothers Day balloon go with a simple not to mom saying we love you, would all of you do the same and e-mail me and let me know that you did. It help me alot knowing that so many people care. Granny is doing great health wise, the AD is about the same though. But other then that she is fine. I know I have said this before and I am not a person to ask for help but if any of you might be able to spare even a dollar to help with moms funeral or other bills we have to come up with about $3000 and have about $500, so please do. Just send a check, money order, or wire the money to: The Denise Cooper Memorial Fund c/o Fibre Federal Credit Union 822 Commerce Ave. Longview, WA 98632 Well thank you all for taking the time to read this and I'll update again. Robert
