There are those who say we must respond to violence with violence because that is the only thing they understand. That may be, but, is that the only thing we understand?
You have arrived at the home of my site dedicated to exploring things that heal and harm the spirit.
Many things heal a wounded spirit. This section contains a variety of links to places near and far that reflect what helps to heal my spirit. No matter where we are in life's journey, the spirit always needs some nurturing.

What harms the spirit can be as simple as an unkind word or as terrifying as a life threatening experience. Without understanding what harms us, we cannot heal.

Missing Person Alert: Sarah deVries, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. There have been recent developments in the cases of 50 women missing in Vancouver of which Sarah is one. You'll find a link to more info on this page. Two murder charges have been laid against Robert Pickton of Port Coquitlam, B.C. (February 25, 2002).
post traumatic stress disorder (ptsd) - useful links to more information for adults and children.
fibromyalgia syndrome - I have been diagnosed with FMS which, in very simple terms, is chronic and disabling pain. I've been exploring the WWW to get a better understanding of this syndrome and will soon add a section devoted to the best resources.
"war" on terrorism - I have alot to say about what's happened since September 11th, 2001. I'll be adding some essays to my site soon. We all should be concerned enough to keep our eyes wide open.
