I just wanted to tell you what pleasure it gave me to read the web-site on your family. It really takes me back. The pleasure was the greater when I came across the reference to my father Dr. Eugene Harvey. All the doctors had to do much more surgery t en than they do in these days of specialists, and I knew he was a good surgeon. But it is not often that you come across a specific mention. My brother, another Dr. Eugene Harvey, has recently retired, but his work was almost all family practice. I hope you'll write some more. Margaret Lloyd

Hello Eugene - My name is John Bald Foggo. I read your web pages tonight and was surprised at two things: firstly there is no mention of any Scottish blood in your family as; secondly, FOGGO is a Scottish name. I have a docyment, prepared by my father which details the origins of the name. I hope to send this soon and I'm sure you will find it interesting. There is a village in the Scottish County of Berwickshire called FOGO. Some families have the surname FOGO. Apparently the second G was introdu ed to the name around the time of the Reformation to indicate that FOGGO were Protestants and FOGO were Catholic.

This site is wonderful, wish our whole family would do something like this. For someone who left Bermuda when they were very young and has almost no memory of life, or family there: this has brought back my roots in undescribable terms. Thanks cousin, I ove you.

Dear Jeanie: It was with a very pleasant surprise that I arrived at your internet page "Bermuda Tapestry" a few days ago and was very delighted to have visited!!!! What a lovely idea. You have inspired me to look into genealogy, etc. Also informative nd fascinating was the Cures for What Ails Ye by Mama Helen. As Aunt Ursula's birthday is this Sunday - please tell her that I read about her, St. David's and the family and really got a chuckle out of the tourists - you and Millie's picture in Las Vegas and was thrilled to see her great grandchildren. Praise the Lord!!! Please wish her a Happy Birthday from us here in Canada. This weekend is the Caribana Parade in Toronto where people visit from everywhere, including the States, etc. and on Monday we a e looking forward to a public holiday. John was in Ohio last month on a business trip and this month in Newfoundland. The family is keeping busy. Love, Ann (Hall)

Hi, I was introductd to your website by Patricia Taggett. Your graphics and music are beyond words. They are so beautiful. The story abot your Mother is even more beautiful. You love her so much and have such a pure and loving relationship with her, nd your sister and the remainder of your family. Thank you for sharing your heartwarming life's story to those of us who have come upon your website. My husband and I love Bermuda and the people who live and work there. We have been there many times an intend to return. You give the impression that you live near Cleveland, Ohio. I've never been to that city. We live in Maryland and are retired. Your Mother is very fortunate to have such an endearing daughter and daughters and such a loving extended family. Sincerely, Patricia

This is a great idea. This year I am teaching a history class at the Berkeley Institute entitled the Bermuda Mosaic (Level 3). It looks at the contributions of the British, Portuguese, West Indian on Bermuda's Heritage. There is also a section on Bermu a's Heritage - our celebrations, architecture, foods etc. I know very little about the history of St. David's (the island and it's people), so found the information very useful. Thanks!!!!!

hi, while in Bermuda we were introduced to a plant, "match me if you can" which everyone seems to know about for its healing abilities on muscle aches, is there a common generic name for this plant and is it only found in Bermuda. I would appreciate it i you could tell me. Thanks. J O'Brien

I loved reading all your stories.Your pages are really well set out and very interesting. In my case my great-grandfather came to Scotland from Bermuda and settled in Scotland in 1881. He was a shipwright in the Merchant Navy as was his father Benjamin Ste d. Benjamin may have been a slave but I have yet to find that out. Again I loved reading your articles. Bye for now. Rosemary

Dear Jeannie. Hope all is well. Got your messages but did not have time to respond. We have been quite busy here. Just completed a family reunion and had a fantastic time. Sixteen relatives from the USA came to Bermuda for the reunion. Relatives on t. Clair's father's side (the Joyiens). Relatives that he did not even know about. It took a lot of work, but it was a rewarding and enjoyable experience. We enjoyed your website, you have done a fantastic job. I know it took a lot of work, you need t be commended for a job well done. Keep up the good work. Love, Lyn & Brinky

Just opened your e-mail. Checked out your web site. How'd you do that (smile)? Do you have to pay for the site? I love the name and the design. It's a little hard to read the gold lettering that tells you where to jump to next because it recedes into the design around it. Is the Bermuda shopping site also yours? Joyce
