Introduction and Further Research | Selected Resources and Articles
Introduction In this Web Links feature you will find a cross-section of articles and references on the web that provide provocative perspective on aspects of gender, sexuality, and/or relationships. Of course, this is a popular topic, so there are undoubtedly hundreds of other resources that could be added to this collection. If you have others to recommend, please let me know.
An Invitation to Visitors
I would like to invite you to select as many titles as you find interesting, read them and then write your reflections after examining the issues they raise. Then compare and contrast different points of view in terms of your own personal impressions and experiences. Discuss some of your impressions with colleagues, friends, or others on the Internet.Dialogue about these issues can be highly informative and rewarding for both women and men. There are numerous discussion lists on the Internet devoted to any or all of the topics discussed here, so if you're interested in getting even more involved, why not search for some interesting topical lists? Try the Liszt Directory of Discussion Lists and just fill in the search line with a topic such as "gender issues" or "relationships."
In addition to these references, visitors are invited to tour these other collections in Scott's Home Page and Library:
These articles and websites are selected for the sheer variety of perspectives and issues which they raise, helping to demonstrate the complexity of meanings we all attach to the social constructs of "gender, sexuality, relationships."
