INDIVIDUAL SEARCH ENGINES
ALTAVISTA
Use Alta Vista when you're looking for a quotation or general information that's not likely to be categorized in search engines like Yahoo. Remember that using quotation marks around a search phrase will yield different results than if you omit the quotation marks. One of the features of Alta Vista is that it allows you to limit your search results to pages published in a particular language. To try this use the language pull-down menu on AltaVista's main home page.
