Dental Variation in Three Macaque Species: Macaca irus, Macaca mulatta, and Macaca nemestrina (Senior Thesis, 1994). Studied the dental variation between three species of macaque monkeys, the sexual dimorphism within each macaque species, and the eruption sequence of macaque monkeys. Radiographic Analysis of the Dentition of Native American Skulls (in progress, Master's degree). Performed radiography on maxillas and mandibles of Native American archaeologic samples. Focus of study is to document, determine the dental age, and note pathologies and variations in sample dentition. Comparison of periotest values of integrated implants with and without healing abutments: a pilot study (Published, Implant Dentistry, Volume 5, Number 3, Fall 1996.) Tested the stability of implants with the periotest to confirm osseointegration. Study focused on the difference in periotest values between implants with and without abutments in order to determine when implant osseointegration can be most accurately measured. Another case of internal carotid artery dissection after mandibular osteotomy (Published, Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Volume 56, Number 1, January 1998.) |
