Dear God,

I last wrote to You last Thursday before leaving for Dallas and the WSO convention. It seems as though a year has passed. This morning I'm still physically not 100%, but lots better, thanks.

Now let's work on my attitudes which have not been where they should be. Yes, the trip home was a mess with cancelled flights, late departures and home folks (namely the woman You sent to run my life) not bothering to look at answering machines. Perhaps You could see where our luggage has gone. SIGH!!!!!!

All of my problems really are small ones which may be handled one at a time, and my life is exactly as it should be this minute ( BB p. 449 ), and my job is to do the next right thing. I'll keep calling the busy signals, at the airlines and the doctor, to find out when my appointment is - as well as the folks who are to fix my recliner. This is a biggie as I'm sitting in hers and the bumps and lumps are different.J This takes care of my complaints and requests for the day, "Thy will not mine be done."

The convention was worth waiting for, and I fell hopelessly in love with all the loopies You sent my way -- all fifty or so. Now there are faces to go with the names and hugs to be remembered. There were people who were not loopies who soon will be, as they live in secluded areas and did not know of us until now. That is the best part of our meetings. One lonely COE is now able to be a part of all this, thanks. I have not the foggiest idea of who located our four tables at the banquet, and if they read this many thanks as we were right up front.

It's a good thing I did not stay for the dancing as my blood pressure was very high after being very low. Guess I don't travel so well any more, and perhaps it is time to stop the long trips unless the woman You sent to run my life is with me. She seems to have such a calming effect on me. Yes, I'm the one who makes the arrangements and decisions, but somehow they all turn out better when my Gloria is next to me. It's time now to find out how many loopies will be going to the region six convention in Danvers Mass. J

My day will be spent with phone calls and doctor stuff, so You watch over my family, friends, fellow loopies, those who still diet ( yes O/A is bringing back food plans) and the folks I don't like. The wisdom to know and power to do Your will is expected and will be appreciated
