Active Living Alliance for Canadians with a Disablity. This site provides information and links to resources about active living with a disability. They sponsor an annual Forum that features topics like education and schools, sports, recreations services, community expansion, physical condition evaluation and orientation, community access, lifestyle modification and re-education, chronic disease and active living, equipment adaptation and improvement, older adults, outdoor activities, and safety and injury prevention. This year's forum is being held in May in Quebec in conjunction with the 11th International Symposium for Adapted Physical Activity. Check out their page for more details on their programs.

Adaptive Sports and Skiing Home Page. Now here's a guy who knows how to have fun. Tom Cannalonga is out skiing, scuba diving and participating in other extreme sports. He feels the need for speed. Nice pictures and a lot of "you gotta try this" excitement at this site. Drop on by and say hi to Tom. He's looking for sports buddies.

Blindsport is a new mailing list dealing specifically with sports for the blind. Topics may range from announcements of upcoming tournaments, how to make sports more accessible to the blind, results from tournaments and events, sports training camps, personal experiences, and any other related topics.

Disabled Sports, USA. This national association provides sporting opportunities for people with hysical disabilities including amputations, paraplegia, quadriplegia, cerebral palsy, head injury, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, stroke and visual impairments.
