If you like to talk to other people with Multiple Sclerosis, I suggest you get a program such as Pirch or mIRC.
These programs allow you to see at a glance who is in the room with you, also allows you to format the size of the type on the screen (very good for the visually impaired).
These programs are shareware--which means, you can download and use the full program for free.
Directions to #ginnys_place at 9:00-9:30 EST nightly!
To connect through irc software such as Pirch or mIRC, use the server internet.chatsystems.com on port 6667;
to telnet in through a shell account, use the server telnet.chatsystems.com on port 6667.
From there, type /join #ginnys_place.
If you are using IRC software you'd be able to come in and still be on your other favorite undernet channels--mIRC and Pirch allow more than one server connection at a time.
#ginnys_place is a place for friends to meet; to talk about MS, or whatever comes to mind. Ginny's Little Piece of the Web is a haven on the web for comraderie and friendship.
There are alot of other channels as well #multiple_sclerosis wich meets at 3:00 & 9:00 EST, there are many other channels like #msfriends, #msfunchat.
Download and enjoy a whole new world of the net.
