Reclosing the Skull

The process of reclosing takes many months but begins right after the surgery. You will notice the area getting firmer and firmer all over, rather than the two sides closing together like a draw bridge. It will only seem unusually soft for a few weeks.

The reshaping of the head is almost immediate with babies so young. Take some pictures of his head prior to the surgery, and them compare them to the real thing 2 to 3 months after. You will be amazed.
