FL 2 DMAT Members

This will be a short newsletter to bring you up to date on upcoming activities that the Executive Committee has been working on.

April 10th and 11^th (Sat and Sun) 1999- Member/Family Campout/cookout.

This even will give our families a chance to see what a DMAT team is, a portion of our tents, equipment etc. They can also enjoy those delicious meals we talk about- yes you heard me right -they get their own MRE's - let's hear it out there….yeeeeee

They can help us set up our tents etc. This will be a fun time and we hope you will all attend this outing. We are requesting a $10.00 a person (childrens too) which will get you your meals for the two days. (also gets you a free FL 2 DMAT water bottle.)

Note this is a two dayer- and your options are to come only during the day or (hopefully) everyone will want to spend Sat night on the lovely cots with our koosey sleeping bags.

DMAT members please wear your uniforms- we need to look professional- also media will be attending. No alcohol please.

The Terrorism Class (by G. Lindbergh Unit Commander)that many of you were disappointed at it's cancellation -yes- has been reschedules-

Let's all try to attend- NDMS is getting stricter and encourages DMAT to provide these classes to the membership and it looks good for our team to have the majority of our members complete this class.
