Attendance is expected. During this meeting we will discuss the educational
needs of the team and plan next years activities.
Many of you have inquired about the next meeting so here is your date so
please plan to attend to support your team.
There is a lot of work involved to keep this team on a Level 1 status and to
keep our members enthusiastic- but that requires your part too. There are
committees you may want to join. Everyone has talents to share with this
team.

Some of the newsletters and announcements will be sent via email- if you have
received this announcement letter via snail mail then you either do not have
email, or I do not have the correct one or if you recently got one you will
need to email me that address. By sending out the letters via email they
save the team the expense of stamps and save trees.

Uniforms and orientation information. The executive committee made a
decision in the long awaited question of distributing the uniforms and the
past problems with team members not returning the uniforms when they move or
leave the team. If you presently have uniforms that was distributed they
will be unaffected by this new decision. They are, however, still the
property of the Federal gov’t and FL 2 DMAT and must be returned if you leave
the team.

If a team member joins after 11-06-99 they will need to purchase the
uniforms:
The jacket is $35.00- this price will include the patches and sewing them on.
The pants are $25.00- you must have two.
The uniforms can be ordered from Joyce Mason- home ph 941-656-0112.
The T-shirts are $8.00-each- it is mandatory that you purchase at least 2-3
and Barb Goodwin- home ph 941-481-5706 -is your contact person. The black
boots and tan utility belt can be purchased at any store or army/navy outlet.
Belt buckle that is steel versus brass is preferred since you will not have
to polish it. There are several suppliers available -contact Gary
941-458-0112.
Those of you who are presently on the team will be grand fathered in and
further details will be provided at the Dec Mtg.
Also alphanumeric pagers are mandatory. It is your responsibility to make
the arrangements with Metrocall ph 1-800-791-2337.

Please remember to promote our team to friends and co-workers and interest
them in joining.
