CREATIVE ENERGY FLOWS downward. From GOD & His Universe to the vessels which are allowed to hold and filter out what might be appreciated by fellow vessels. Jokr's track record shows an undying passion for creative expression. From child songwriter to musical producer and businessman, he has been involved in the world of musical expression for most of his life. From the harsh realities of ghetto life to the potential of Greater Life, his palette has always furnished reason for introspective expression about love, life and God.

Along his journey into the Music Industry, he created his path as he felt befit his walk. From DJ troups in the Chicago House Music scene, to his own brainstorms such as "Jokr'N'Ace Productions", his musical education allowed him to avoid the common pitfalls for most ghetto youths. Leaving Chicago, he headed to Youngstown. There he met Charles Buie, who would go on to be one of his primary musical mentors. Behind the scenes of the band "UltraSound", Jokr learned the art of stage performance and the business of music promotion. He later worked with Buie again as a background vocalist and keyboardist in the short-lived showband "Skatt".

After relocating to Los Angeles, Jokr began his solo recording career. With Baldee Productions' Kermit "Dee" Davis at the board, he learned the art of production engineering, and eventually, of artist management. His musical education was further embellished with one-on-one coaching in Piano and Music Theory by Thomas Grant, and Voice Training by the late, great Vivian Greene (*-1993). He has also collaborated with master songwriter Jimmy George, and kept company with several other notables in the Hollywood music scene. Behind the scenes is where he preferred to work, but he decided to step out to bring the scene home.

Currently, Jokr resides in the new music Mecca, Atlanta. For the past few years, he has been singing, writing and producing with local sensation "Aqusis" (now known as "Nfusion"). He was a founding partner in the reputed music business consulting agency OnPoint Entertainment. Always the seeker of growth, he has continued to hone his talents as a solo artist/songwriter/producer, as well.
