SOME HELPFULL DEFINITIONS FROM THIS FITINSTRUCTOR'S MIND!!!
Fitness-
Fitness , in my definition, is not being thin or super strong.  However,  fitness is 
 feeling good, about your body and what you can physically achieve no matter what size you are. 
Health-
Health is toally different then fitness and it is nice to have both pulling for you.  Health
 is feeling mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally well in your life.
 When you feel good, you can accomplish so many good things and you will do them with the
 upmost care and creativity!!!  
REMEMBER: the 2 definitions above are solely based on my philosophy and not on any book's.

Suggestion: Use the FOOD GUIDE PYRAMID for correct servings for each food group. Trying to Bulk Up? Enter: Carrie's Muscle Building Workshop. Make smart choices & don't deprive your body of what it wants!! Sweets and other tempting foods are okay, as long as they are taken in in moderation. Here's a TIP wait 20mins after your 1st onset of the craving, if after 20 mins. it does not go away, have it!! If you don't it will be worse in the long run. At least 3-5 days a week!! What ever you enjoy doing! Remember to benifit in training and improving your cardiovascular system, you need to sustain some type of high to moderate intensity exercise, ie. running, biking, aerobics, etc. for at least 20-30mins. in your 3-5 days a week routine. This will push your body to improve.

Have you ever noticed that the word "diet" has the word "die" in it. That is because you feel like you want to die after you start your so called "diet". People on diets think that the only way the weight is going to come off is by restricting all the food they eat during the day. Some diets make you feel that you can't have any of your favorite foods ever again! Well that is just down right CRUEL! I could not live with out some kind of sugar and, let's not forget chocolate, oh gotta have it! Someone once told me that "chocolate" should be deemed as the fifth major food group in a well balanced diet! Hey, sounds good to me! Where can I vote for that! Guys seriously above all else, it is important to remember you can still enjoy all the foods you love. The key to an effective weight loss program is, and you have heard it before, MODERATION! That's right, the right amount of each food group and, all in moderation. This is a huge step in the the right direction. So, in other words, you SHOULD NOT DIET, you should change your eating habits and alter them to a healthier style of eating, for life. You also must combine thoose good eating habits with a good muscle strengthening program ( using weights). Then incorporate all of that with a good cardio routine on a regular basis to see the results you really wish to see.
In the end all the hard work and effort will pay off, I promise!
GIVE IT TIME. REMEMBER YOU DIDN'T PUT THE WEIGHT ON OVERNIGHT SO THERE IS NO WAY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE IT OFF OVERNIGHT! TAKE IT ONE DAY AT A TIME, DO IT HEALTHY, AND DO IT RIGHT SO YOU WILL ONLY HAVE TO DO IT ONCE TO KEEP IT OFF!
