Harlan County Government


County Government is administered and controlled by the Fiscal Court. The Fiscal Court is composed of the County Judge Executive, County Attorney, County Court Clerk and 5 elected Magistrates. These officials are elected for a 4 year term. All are elected on a county wide basis except the Magistrates, who run in their own districts in the county.
