Lazy Day Cobbler
Serves 6
Quantity/Servings:
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
2 tsps. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
Preparation:
Combine above ingrediants and beat until smooth
Melt 1 cube (1/2 cup) butter or margarine in a deep dish.  I use a deep dish glass pie pan.
Pour batter on top of butter-- Do NOT mix

Put 2 cups drained canned fruit (1-16 oz can) ( I use peaches or cherry pie filling) evenly over top of batter. (do NOT stir)
Of course there is no need to drain pie fillings.
Mix 1/4 cup sugar and 1-tsp cinnamon, sprinkle over top.
Bake:
Bake at 350-375 for 30-45 minutes or until golden brown and middle is set
Serving Suggestion:
This is extra yummy with a whipped topping or a scoop of ice cream.  ENJOY!)
