1912 1 ruble Russia, Nicholas II The obverse shows Nicholas II (1868-1918), the last emperor of Russia (1894-1917), deposed by the Russian Revolution of 1917, and killed with his wife and children. The reverse shows Imperial Russia's Coat of Arms, with its two headed eagle holding a sceptre and orb in its claws, with an image of St.George on the breast.
