Holistic Health is "whole self" health. Holistic Health is the perspective that health is achieved when all aspects of the "whole self" (Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual) are balanced and in harmony with each other and with the environment. How we take care of our bodies, how we think, how we feel, and how we find meaning in our lives all determine our health or lack of it.

Many of us realize that doctors do not have all the answers and that there is much more to being healthy than treating symptoms and disease with drugs and surgery. We must become increasingly responsible for our own health through education and self-care and by healing ourselves through improved nutrition, exercise, rest and relaxation, positive relationships, meaningful work, positive coping styles and mental attitudes, connecting with nature, and the many varied natural therapies which are becoming more and more popular today.
