If cable companies where forced to provide minimum number of channel signal at all times to all outlets (recievers)at no charge, broadcaster of those Free over air signals will be well served, while signal space once used will be more creatively used for public good. Even free ATSC should be cable or telco free item, not over air item.
Perhaps forcing telivision manufacturers to include telephone modem card slot and line port with monitor may give additional choice.
After all, half of all internet users are provided free service thru local government hubs,i.e. schools, firestations, non profits, etc. so why waste any airwaves for anything except mobile signals. cut out AM & crimp FM to about 1/3 its present bandwidth space.
Old equipment will still work in most cases & tremendous number of people could expand use of devices made for automobiles as personal servant,as well as laptop computing. Rural area could use airwaves more for needed communication, not just limited few channels often of poorer quality.
Even with so much redundancy removed airwaves will still only accomadate very liited number of devices at any one time, yet useage could be controlled by fee, where nessesary, most people using actual airwave only small fraction of time allows many deveices to have useful potential in needed situations.
For high bandwidth, new copper & light technologies into home/office are much more appropriate.

It takes 7 minutes per treatment & pays $35 to doctor per treatment, only twice week is legal, yet by using patients middlename first back to back with first name first treatments can be forced upon patients twice as often, lets face it you end up with dozens before any supervision stops further treatment. That Doctor is not Doctor whom Certified you, its special "pugualist" comes on ward to administer treatments & knows nothing of you at all. Its terrible game, Police bring Single Men to Warehouse Door, ring bell & throw you in, where your name is never heard of again, plain dissapeared. While most of patients are on other wards posing as staff, most of day, by doing this "hospitol" can collect enough to pay for and created individuals lie that is your hospitol record, record that is 100% enacted lie and being perpetrated upon public, staff is look alike ill, phoney doctor & no way out are only rules.(not getting caught is number one).
As intresting as brain may be, treatment has nothing to do with understanding brain workings, its just plain Entertainment Murder for Staff & Doctor, most of whom HISS & Scowl their way thru life, often products of ophanage Farms from rual Areas.
