I have suffered from severe debilitating mold
sensitivity for about ten
years now. Unfortunately I was pretty good at
mowing yards which was my
trade. But I am not a very good epidemiologist.
So I haven't paid as much
attention to this disease from a scientific view
as I should have. And
because the main stream medical Dr's think were
imagining it, well, they haven't either. Hence I
have suffered for over ten years now to a large
degree
UNESASSARLY! This disease is extremely treatable,
all one must do is remove
themselves from mold long enough for their body's
to recuperate and than
from this point avoid serious mold hazards like
what my house was. Even if
I can never be as vigorous and healthy as I was
ten years ago I know for
fact "beyond any doubt" that I can improve my
condition drastically though
mold avoidance. It's just easier said than done.
I have tried moving to a
dozen different places in the last ten years. If
you include camping in
tent's in back yards, moving into an old motor
home, living on porches,
living underneath a carport, living in a sail
boat, living in different
houses I have owned, Staying at friends houses,
buying a brand new travel
trailer for 20k and living inside it, taking the
front seat out and living
in the cab of my pickup truck,. Building a camper
on the back of my pickup
truck from scratch with all mold resistant
materials (metal drywall studs
and Styrofoam covered with bisqueen. I have tried
a lot of things and I
failed every time. I thought maybe if I moved into a new house this would solve all my woes but I've lived in a brand new home for 8 months now and still suffer albeit to a much lesser degree. My next goal is to move out west and build a structure out of mold free materials the hope being their is less mold in the air out their and if I control my surroundings maybe I will be able to reduce my expousure enough to get some of my stamina and health back.
Even if you don't suffer from mold
sensitivity you should care because it's a
silent epidemic that is destroying thousands of
lives and costing billions
of dollars in remediation and law suit's (which I
don't necessarily agree
with) How can this illness not be recognized by
science? I always say "you
have a pathogen and you have thousands of
severely ill people" It doesn't
get any easier than this from a epidemiologist's
standpoint! It makes no
sense why this illness continues to be ignored by
main stream medicine. The
financial losses from this unbelievable lack of
interest by the people who's
job is "public health" is atrocious. It is
affecting everyone financially!
Why are our politicians, our medical
institutions, even our media outlets
who give this issue miniscule air time ignoring
us? THIS PROBLEM IS
EVERYONE'S PROBLEM!
