Here we have a beautiful Frank Ulrich Hand Painted Cachet featuring a colorful "Cancer Crusade" banner.  It appears to have been painted with watercolors.  I don't know how many of these cachets Mr. Ulrich created, but I'm very happy to have one in my collection.  It's one of my favorite cachets.  It is also one of the more valuable covers in my collection.  Unfortunately, this example includes some unsightly brown spots along the bottom of the cover.  He created his first hand painted cachet back in the early 1960s.  Frank also released another, very different, hand painted cachet for the Crusade Against Cancer stamp, however, so far, I've been unable to add one of them to my collection.  You can see what this other cachet looks like by clicking on the NEXT ITEM button below, or at the top of this page.
