Hello, I am Connor Matthew

December 9th, well I am really doing good with this military crawl. I have however actually crawled to mommy a couple of times. Daddy has not seen me do this though. He is always in the wrong place when I do this feat. I have a second tooth coming in. How about that! I have a favorite stuffed animal. His name is Rover. He is a little puppy. Best thing of all, Scott doesn't like to play with him. Hehe.

November 24th, yesterday was sure fun. We went to Perkins for dinner and in the evening we went to my aunt and uncles house. There we saw many of our relatives. It was fun. I did sleep there though.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

I sure have a lot of things to be thankful for this year. I have two wonderful parents, a neat big brother, and lots of people who love me. I also have cut through my 1st tooth!

I enjoyed the special day and cannot wait till Christmas!

November 19th, Mom picked up our family pictures and dad has put them on my PICTURE PAGE. They really turned out well. You can also see the halloween pic with my cousin and brother. I am actually getting on my hands and knees now. Not all the time, but sometimes. I still don't have any teeth uprooting. The one that was decided I guess to take a leave of absence. Fine with me. Thanksgiving is coming up and I am lookign forward to that. I will get to see a lot of my relatives and they will all go googoo over me, and Scott of course.Haha

November 12th, now that the voting is done, seems like folks in Florida screwed things up royally and now they are recounting the presidential ballots and may even recount in other states. What a sad shape things are right now. On a better note, I am on the verge of crawling. Mom says probably by Christmas for sure I will be crawling.I just cannot seem to get on all fours and motorvate, but I sure can scoot like the dickens. Speaking of Dickens, my folks are really ready for Christmas. Our tree is up and decorations are about. Sure is nice in our house. I am getting more hair.

November 5th, yesterday we went to get our family pictures taken. Scott was not very nice. He would not sit still. Mom and dad said I had been a good boy. Well, I was until I fell forward trying to get my pic taken with Scott. Ouch! on my face I went. Hopefully next year won't be as bad!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

October 27th, Scott's party at grannies went fine. I had a real fun time, that is when I was not sleeping in the pack and play. I got to see many relatives and everyone loved holding me. I will be having my 1st birthday party too come next April. Wow! A whole year will have gone by. Seems like yesterday I came home from the hospital.

October 25th, Today is my big brothers birthday. Happy 3rd birthday, Scott! I enjoy having a big brother. He is fun to watch. He also seems to get into trouble a lot. I hope I don't get into that much trouble. Mom and dad mentioned the terrible twos, but now he is three. I wonder what year this will be. Haha.

Happy 6th Month Birthday To Me!!!!!

Yup, hard to believe that I am 6 months old now. I am starting to get on all fours these days. I am eating good and it shows! For Halloween I am going to be a ladybug. Scott will be Tigger. We will be going to have such fun. Scott's birthday is coming up on the 25th. I will have fun that day too seeing all my relatives that have not seen me in a while.

HAPPY 5TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MOMMY AND DADDY

Congrats to you both! Scott and I are so fortunate to have such a great mom and dad taking care of us. We both love you.

October 10th, I am getting a tooth coming in. My mommy says she can see a tiny tooth that is trying to get itself out. No wonder my gums hurt so much! I roll on the floor and try to get on all fours. I love to babble. I like watching my big brother, Scott. I like watching our pets. Holly is funny. She likes to lick my face.

October 1st, This weekend Scott, daddy, and I went to see the air show at our airport. It was really neat to see the different planes doing tricks and really neat seeing the Thunderbirds. They are a special group of jets that are from the United States Air Force. They did different tricks and stuff. Jesse came over and went with us on Sunday. I will be going to the doctor this month. I got a new set of clothes. My big brothers old clothes. Man, he had some cool clothes! I am still teething. No teeth have broke through yet, but there getting there.

Happy 5th Month Birthday To Me!!!!!

These days I am starting to teethe. I am a bit fussy at times. I like to watch my mom, dad and big brother. My favorite foods are peas, peaches, bananas, and beef. I can hold a bottle at times. I have been sleeping in my room now for quite a while. My folks like that. I am also starting to roll over. Wow!! Will be sitting up better too!

We went to the St. Louis Zoo yesterday. Of what I saw, it looked like a huge place with lots of animals. I liked it, but I wish I could have seen more of it. You see, I was sleeping. I do that still a lot. Hehe. I did see that Scott got a hat. Mom told me that they didn't have anything in my size otherwise I too would have gotten something. That's ok mom. I did enjoy the company of Stevie, DJ, and Jesse. They were entertaining me. Again, while I was awake. I am getting to be a big boy and standing up. Not standing up on my own yet, but I can keep my weight up then I collapse. I haven't started crawling yet, but I do roll around and do 360's in my crib.

Happy Labor Day to you all

September 3rd, Grannies was fun as usual. The wedding anniversary that we went to was a lot of fun also. I got to see many relatives. I went with my family to the Childrens Museum yesterday. It was fun. I just hung out in the snugly thingy that dad straps me in. I like it. I am eating regular baby food these days along with my formula.

August 25th, we will be going to grannies tomorrow. I cannot wait. I am told that Scott and I are invited to moms great aunt's 50th wedding anniversary. So, this means I will get to see many relatives that will want to dote over me. I love that! We will be taking our new van. Holly won't get to come with us though because grannies cannot have dogs and cats in their apartment buildings anymore. That sucks!

Happy 4th Month Birthday To Me!!!!!

I had my doctors appointment today and I weigh a whopping 14.8 lbs!! How about that? I am half way to my big brothers size. I am able to start eating baby food. I cannot wait. It looks good compared to this formula my folks call "yum-yum" and "supper", I think they have been holding out on me.

August 13th, We went to the state fair yesterday and boy was it fun. I had a great time of it seeing all there was to see. Providing I wasn't asleep, which I did a lot. Scott, mom, dad, Uncle Joe and Cousin Stevie were all here. Dad said the food was good. I cannot wait until next year. Maybe I won't sleep as much!

August 6th, I started sleeping in my own room last nite. I didn't really care to much for it either. I ended up sleeping in my bassinet in the living room and kept mom up for a long time until dad said he would deal with me. It will take some getting used to but I like my own room. It is bigger than sharing with my parents. It also is a bigger room than Scotts. Scott also started sleeping in his room(again!) He too doesn't care to be by himself but mom and dad says we need to be in our own room. Yesterday we all went shopping and Scott and I got some new jammies.

July 28th, at grannies. Guess what! Mom weighed me and I weighed 13 lbs!! Isn't that something? I am trying to roll myself over while playing on the floor. It won't be long I will be doing that, then comes this crawling everyone talks so much about.

July 22nd, Wow! What a party! I had a fun time. There was all kinds of noises and the best off all was these animals that were playing instruments. I really enjoyed that. Also, all the people that were googling over me. They could not resist me. I cannot wait till my birthday party!

Happy 3rd Month Birthday To Me!!!!!

Today I turned 3 months old. Wow! Getting older and wiser these days. Tomorrow I will go to a birthday party with Scott and my folks. Scott was invited so that means I get to go too!!

July 15th, I heard that the 4th of July was a pretty fun time. Mom and dad took Scott and I to the park for a fireworks show but I slept through the whole thing! I am doing pretty good these days. I am making squealing noises, getting chunkier, I like to watch my big brother and I am sleeping through the night a little better. Dad likes that.

I probably weigh about 13 lbs by now, or at least I look it. I will be going to my doctors soon for a checkup. Dad has updated my picture page. You must go see.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

July 1st, I am getting more and more active. I like to whine more if I am unhappy about something. I sure do want everyone to know about it. Dad will be developing new pictures soon. He said he will update my photo page.

June 22nd, I went to the doctor yesterday and guess how much I weigh? 11lb 5oz and am 21 inches long. I went with mommy to take Scott to pre school. Mommy got quite upset over the ordeal, but Scott, I could hear him saying "bye bye". He enjoyed the time, but I think mommy missed Scott. I actually slept. Haha.

Happy Father's Day to my daddy, the best daddy there could ever be. He changes my dirty diapers and puts up with all the spitting up I do. I love you!

June 17th, today we went shopping for daddy. He is going to be so excited at what we got him. I am smiling more these days and I make a lot of cooing noises. Mom and dad likes that. I can tell because they get the funniest look on their faces and they too start talking to me in some funny language. I like to look around and watch Scott(he's my big brother!) play. I am staying up longer these days and paying more attention to things. I will be going to my doctor soon. Dad and mom thinks I must be getting up to 12 lbs now. What a big boy I am!

May 30th, Happy Memorial Day to you all.
We went to the park yesterday to enjoy our day. I also made my very 1st trip to the zoo. That was really something. Well, kinda, I kept getting woke up by all the animal sounds. The zoo is not a very good place to get some needed napping! I am growing strong. I am probably close to 10 lbs now. I did start taking formula as well as breastmilk. That formula stuff doesn't taste too bad, but I like moms milk better. I can smile, only when I want to though.

Happy 1st Month Birthday To Me!!

May 16th, today I went to my doctor and everything is going great. I weigh 8lbs 3 oz and am 19 3/4" long. I am getting to be a big boy. I will be going to grannies this coming weekend. This will be my first roadtrip to my grannies. How exciting. Mom says she has a bridal shower to go to and everyone has told her to be sure to bring me. I am looking forward to seeing all my relatives.

I love you mom. You are very, VERY special to me. YOU FEED ME!! You always talk in such a calm voice, well that is when you are not getting on my brother. Hahaha. I cannot wait till I can actually give you a great big hug. You know, right now my arms are not very long and I can't barely hold myself up. It is hard being a baby. Love you always, Connor Matthew.

May 13th, boy am I excited about tomorrow. Tomorrow will be moms day and this will be the 1st year I will get to celebrate my mommy! We have many things planned, Scott and I, with daddies help of course. I cannot wait. That is if I can stay up through out the day!

May 8th, Dad went back to work today. I am all alone with mom and Scott. I sleep a lot and eat almost every 2 hours. Breastmilk is really good. I like it because it doesn't give me much gas and dad says he likes it because my poop is not yucky. I will be going to see me doctor again soon.

May 1st, boy did we have a big weekend. Grandma left to go back to her house on Saturday and then my dads friend and his son came over. On Sunday, more of my mom and dads friends showed up. We all had a huge cookout and daddy played homerun derby. He hit 2 homeruns each game. One for Scott and one for me. I got to see many people and they were all excited to see me. Today I went to my pedi doctor and guess what happened? My dried up umbilical thing fell off! Yikes!! It did not hurt though. I am not quite at my birth weight yet, but I am nursing good and started sleeping through the night. It won't be long now.

April 26th, I am getting the hang of things around here. I am eating every 2 hours, sometimes even less than that. I am sleeping a lot. Hard being a baby you know.

April 24th, Today I came home with mommy. I am so glad to be home. I don't have all the nurses pestering me every 2 hours and I have gotten to see all my family and animals. I was surprised to see that I have 3 cats, 1 dog, and 2 birds(the birds are grandmas) When dad told me I had animals at home he meant a zoo!

I like my big brother and he likes me. I am glad. I will be going to my doctors soon for a check up.

Happy Easter everyone! My grandma and my little brother came over today to see mommy and me. They all had fun that I could tell. I slept a lot. I am going to be going home tomorrow.

I made it!!

YEEEEHAAA!!

Today I came into this world. I weigh 6 lbs 11 oz. and am 19 inches long. I have a reddish-brownish hair. Kinda like my big brother. However, hehe, I have more hair than he did when he got to go home from the hospital. My grandmas and grandpa came down to see me and all the activity has really worn me out! Soon daddy will get new pics of me and my family on here so keep checking.

April 20th, The amnio went great!! I am planned on being born tomorrow morning. I cannot wait.

April 15th, Happy Birthday Daddy!

Even though I cannot see you yet, I hear you all the time and I want to wish you a happy birthday.
My folks have got my room all ready. New carpet and my furniture is in there. It looks really nice. Hope Scott doesn't get jealous. Mom will go to her doctor in a few days for the amnio. This will allow the docs to make sure I am ready to be born.

April 12th, boy have we had some excitement around here so far this week. Monday nite dad took mom to the L&D department to get evaluated. She started to contract and it would not stop. Once at the unit, they monitored mom for hours and after about 2 hours the contactions had really spreaded apart almost to a halt. Then after an hour of nothing, they let us all go home. Today dad is taking off work to take her to the doctors and to go pick up granny and bring her down here. Granny will help mom take care of Scott. He must really be something. I hear him yelling and stuff all the time. And mom is constantly saying, "Scott, no!", "Scott, get off that!","Scott, what??", "Scott, come here!". Oh brother....

April 8th, I am about ready to burst out of this belly I am in! I am going on 36 wks and I am going to be born on April 21st. YAHOO!!!

Here I am about 6 lbs now.
Mom and dad have gotten the carpet ordered for my room. I sure cannot wait!

March 27th, mom went to the doctor today and guess what?? We have a date that I will be born. APRIL 21ST!! Mom will have an amnio done on the 20th. How exciting! Grandma and grandpa will be coming down to stay with us and boy are they excited too. I cannot wait to see Scott, my big brother.

March 26th, 2000, I am pretty busy in here flipping and making mom uncomfortable at times. In fact, last week mom had to take a trip to the L&D department to be seen because of severe cramping. It did last only about 1.5 hours, but it sure was uncomfortable for mommy. Things were fine though. Her cervix is fine and no significant changes have been brought about. Tomorrow mom gets to tell the doctor the dates she has picked for the amnio and section. How exciting, eh?

Here I am now, about 4 lbs at this stage.

March 20th, Things are going well. My room is almost finished. My folks still have to get carpet and a ceiling fan installed. It is going to be such a great room. Mom is now at 33wks. Next week, the doctor will give mom and dad the dates when mom will have her amnio done and then the c-section. We are all excited.

Happy St. Patty's Day!!

March 4th, Things are going pretty good. Mom is about 32 weeks now and I am giving her fits. I have learned that I can turn summersaults in this place!

Dad and mom has got my walk in closet 98% done. They did the bulk of it today. It is really gonna be nice. Scott will probably be jealous.

February 20th, well things are going well here. Mom is into her 30th week now. I am doing fine. Went to see the doc and things are fine. Still do not have a date yet for the amnio. Dad has been getting my room ready. It will be quite nice. Peach colored walls, white trim, built in shelves, and a walk in closet. i will have a bigger room that Scott.Hehe

February 6th, Mom went to the doctors last week and he told her that she will need to have an amniocentesis done prior to having the c-section. This will determine how developed my lungs are before getting to be born. I will probably be born around 36-40 wks. The doctors do not want mom to have contractions and such because of the high risk she has of rupturing. So, I don't have any plans, just sit in here and move around and make sure they know I am here. Hehehehe

January 30th, Dad and mom have been working on my room this weekend. They have done some painting and cleaning out the closet. It really looks nice. Mom will be going to her sonogram tomorrow, then she has to go see her diabetic doctor during the week too. I am kicking and moving around here, being couped up in moms uterus.

January 9th, 2000, Well things are going fine here. Mom went to the doctors and things are going just fine. I am growing just like I am suppose to be. I am kicking more and more. I am able to hear sounds now. I am in the 23rd week. Only 4 months to go!!!Dad is getting my room ready and it is really going to be a big room compared to Scott's room. He might get jealous.

December 26th, Boy did we have a busy Christmas. It seemed that all my mommy did was eat. And boy did I like it! Pie, tators, meat, and some really , really good apple salad. I never went hungry that is for sure. I have been giving mommy more gas and I love to stretch about in this tiny home of mine.

December 24th, Well folks, I have an offical name. Connor Matthew. Yup, I am going to be a little brother! How exciting. My folks found out the other day at the sonogram at my mommies doctors office. They are pretty excited I can hear. I sure am kicking my mommy a lot. I am only 20 weeks so far. I have quite a ways to go.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

To all my mom and dads family and friends, I wish you all a happy and safe time. Life is good here for me. I am kicking mommy, giving her gas, and I press up against her spine giving her lower back pain and hip pain. SORRY MOMMY!

November 20th, yesterday my mommy had a procedure done to sew her cervix shut so that way I won't be born early like my big brother. The cervix is weak and cannot withstand me growing inside the uterus, so the procedure prevents this dilation of the cervix. Dad also makes sure that mom takes life as easy as possible. When we all go out mom rides in a wheelchair. Thanksgiving is coming up this next Thursday and it should be so much fun. Good fun, times, and family and friends.

October 30th, My folks are taking my big brother, Scott out for Halloween. I hope they have fun. I haven't been making mommy too sick these days, but sure do make her tired.

October 23rd, 1999, I am at my grandmas house, well with my mommy of course and at the moment she is shopping with granny.Hahaha, confusing isn't it? Lots have been going on. Dad is working on my bedroom and mom is dealing with me and her diabetes. She is doing pretty good too. Mom and dad went to see the doctor the other day and and got to see me via a sonogram. I am at 11.5 wks and you can see my heart pumping away. My body and extremities could also be seen. In fact, it looked like I was sucking my thumb. They do not know yet what sex I am. What a surprise that will be. My big brother's birthday party is this weekend. He will be turning 2 years old.

September 25th, well mommmy and I went to the docs office and the doc said I am 8wks gestation. WOW, that is mighty tiny! The due date is May 8th, but the c-section might be done late April. Mommy is gonna have a procedure done called a shirodkar in November. This will be to sew up her cervix to prevent my premature birth. That is what happened to my big brother Scott. You can read about him at his websites listed below. As you can imagine, mom and dad are getting ready for my arrival already. Starting with getting my room all made.
