This is the page for adventurous anglers who want unbiased, independent information about the best  gamefishing destinations around the world.

International Gamefisher gives this to readers three times a year.  The main magazine is supplemented by a monthly newsletter which brings news from lodges, outfitters and destinations featured in the magazine.

Established in 1992, the aim was to present readers with informative and unbiased articles written by experienced travelling anglers or experts from the featured locale.  This was at a time when interest in fishing abroad was growing in Europe, and especially in Britain.

Now based in Iceland, the magazine is striving to serve its readers the same high quality and informative articles.  Production has been stepped up to three times a year (April, August and December) and the sister publication The Silver Run is having a major re-vamp.

The Silver Run started life as a salmon conservation news letter and has lately been used as a monthly news bulletin for updates on destinations featured in the magazine and general fishing news.  From now on The Silver Run is going to provide subscribers with intimate details about river systems, coastal locations, etc. and build up into a valuable data base for travelling anglers.  Watch this space!
