Spoiler Alert!
Do not read ahead if you don't want to find out about
Jira. This will all
be revealed later in my story. |
Jira was the daughter of Aoi and
Suisei, the king and queen of Lapris. Before Jira was |
born, there was a great war going
on in Lapris. Aoi, her pregnant mother, feared deeply for
her own life, and more for the life of her daughter, as
the attackers were relentless and strong. In her last
moments of life, she saved her unborn daughter by sending
her starseed to Meteo, then colapsed dead as the caste
was over-thrown. Lapris was destroyed. |
|
By
normal rule, the death of a senshi's planet means they
cannot be reborn by their star |
seeds, but luckily Jira's mother
knew that, and by sending her starseed to Meteo she would
be born from the planet, taking Meteo as her new home.
But Jira's mother had forgotten that Meteo and its moon,
Hoolivine, were in the convergence season, and the
starseed collided with the blue moon of Meteo. |
|
The native inhabitants of Hoolivine, the
Hooloovoos, were cute, fluffy super-intelligent |
beings made of periwinkle blue
goo. The Hooloovoos saw a shooting star, brighter than
they had ever seen, falling from the sky. It crashed
silently into the ground, a tiny blue-white flower
instantly growing and opening its petals to the night
sky. They found baby Jira wrapped in the blueish petals
of the flower the day she was born from the planet.
Knowing that she was not a Hooloovoo, they concluded that
she was a human. |
|
The reigning queen of Meteo, Lieta, came
visiting Hoolivine one day, and one of the cute |
little Hooloovoos approached her,
Jira bundled tightly under its arm. It told Lieta about
the star, and that the baby must be something special,
and since Lieta was the queen, they thought it was better
to give the baby to her than to one of the normal human
citizens that lived on Hoolivine. Lieta fell in love with
the baby Jira the first moment she was unbundled from her
silver cloth. Lieta was ecstatic to comply and took the
little child home with her. |
|
Jira lived with Lieta and Res in the royal
castle of Meteo. She was a sweet and kind little |
girl that her 'parents' both
adored. Jira grew up like a young-lady, taught to be
proper and elegant. Her mother never let her cut her long
silver hair. |
|
When Jira was 15, she met the prince of a
nearby system, Gemini. His name was Polux. |
Both of them felt it was love at
first sight. Not long after their meeting, they married
eachother and Polux became the new king of Meteo, leaving
Gemini to be ruled by his twin brother Castor. |
|
Jira and Polux were very loving towards
eachother. Polux was adventurous and brave, |
and Jira loved that about him.
The only thing she didn't love, was how long he was
always away. Meteo had its crusades just as other planets
did, and Polux always led them, sometimes not coming back
for a whole year. Other times it would only be a short
outing, possibly to visit another part of the kingdom and
right its wrongs. On occasions such as that, he left his
best friend and most trusted knight, Dane, to protect
Jira from any evil that could threaten her. |
|
This seemed like a good idea... that is,
until Jira developed Gwenevere Syndrome. She |
and Dane began to have an affair
behind the king's back. It lasted for about five years
until one day Jira found out she was with child. Afraid
for her life and Dane's, she immediately parted from him,
so neither would be caught and face treason. The little
fuscia-haired baby was born Asheyu, the claimed
'daughter' of Polux. Polux was overjoyed to have a child,
and in his naivity he didn't realize that it was
impossible for the baby to be his, as she was concieved
on a day when he was away. |
|
Things went as normal, no one knew the
truth about Asheyu. When Asheyu turned |
seven, Dane was forced by an
unknown person to confess that he had been Jira's lover
for so long. In a rage, the public smacked treason on
both of their heads. Fotunately for them, they were not
killed, only banished to Hoolivine. Jira never found Dane
again in the great blue cities of Hoolivine, though she
looked as hard as she could. The Hooloovoos knew who she
was, and treated her as royalty, unaware of her actions
on Meteo; they had only thought she had come back to
them. Jira never saw nor heard from her daughter again.
Feeling as though she was worthless, she moped about the
cities silently. |
