ANSWERS TO A001

 From - ALVIN
I GOT THIS RECIPE OUT OF A MUSCLE MAGAZINE.  I HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR
A YEAR NOW AND IT WORKS FOR ME. CONTAINS ABOUT 700 CALORIES AND IT
IS ALL REAL, NOT PROCESSED FOOD!

14 oz. APPLE JUICE
3/4c. INSTANT OATMEAL, UNCOOKED
1 BANANA
6 EGG WHITES
2 YOLKS

NUKE THE EGGS FOR ABOUT ONE MINUTE. BLEND ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER.
HOPE YOU ENJOY!

QUESTION A002

From - P. GAESSER
DOES ANYONE HAVE AN OPINION ON WHETHER INTERMEDIATE BODYBUILDERS
LIKE MYSELF SHOULD SNACK BETWEEN MEALS?  I REALLY WANT TO GAIN WEIGHT,
BUT MUSCLE NOT FAT.  I WORK A FULL TIME JOB SO I FIND IT HARD TO EAT MORE
THAN THREE MEALS A DAY.  I READ SOMEWHERE THAT YOU SHOULDN'T SNACK
BETWEEN MEALS, IS THIS GOOD ADVICE?

ANSWERS TO A002

From - ANONYMOUS, AMERICA
I RECOMMEND SNACKING BETWEEN MEALS WHEN YOU WANT TO INCREASE YOUR
MUSCULAR WEIGHT. IT IS WELL KNOWN THAT YOUR BODY NEEDS FUEL I.E. FOOD,
EVERY HOUR IN ORDER TO GROW.  NEVER SNACK BEFORE WORKOUTS THOUGH, BECAUSE IT
RAISES YOU BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS, INCREASING INSULIN WHICH WILL PREVENT THE
USE OF FATTY ACIDS FOR ENERGY AND IT WILL PREVENT THE USE OF YOUR FAT
STORAGE FOR FUEL.
I RECOMMEND THAT YOU USE A GOOD PROTEIN SUPPLEMENT DRINK WITHOUT CARBS
BETWEEN MEALS, FOR BEAST RESULTS.

QUESTION A003

From - P. ROBINSON
I am 19 yrs old and have been working out now for 1 year.  I want to start taking a good
supplement to increase my muscle gains, but I don't know what supplements are best.
All the magazines have hundreds of different products advertised, but which ones work and
which ones do I need?  I can't afford to buy expensive products.

ANSWERS TO A003

From - A. STEWART
There are two basic things you need and these are PROTEIN and CREATINE. These will
provide a good foundation for muscle growth.  It is important to buy supplements from a well
known company and a good brand. Avoid buying from dodgy companies
offering dirt cheap products you have never heard off.  Ensure that your protein supplement is WHEY
and that your Creatine has a high concentration. Protein is the basic building block of muscle and Creatine
will help build muscle, give you more strength and enable faster recovery.
I hope this has been of some help to you.

From - EDDIE SIMONS
I agree with A. Stewarts reply but would like to add to it.  There are also some great all in one
supplements on the market. I use a product called Cyclone which is a meal replacement drink containing
a good Protein and Creatine.  This is a good option for people like yourself who cant afford expensive
supplements. It is also important to eat well, as supplements don't work if you are eating fatty foods and
little protein all the time. Avoid buying from companies offering large bulk orders of a product you haven't
tried out, even if it's at a really low price.  Not all supplements and products will work for you.  Test them
out before buying large orders.

QUESTION A004

From  -  P. Blakeman,
I want to Know if any one can recommend any tasty meal ideas and recipes for bodybuilding.  What you eat
is one of the most important factors in gaining muscle but it can often mean restrictions on what you can eat. I
have been training for 2 years, but my diet is really starting to bore me.  I eat endless amounts of chicken, tuna,
fish and egg whites, but I am finding it hard to put on serious muscle.  I'm pretty sure that my training routine is ok so my
diet is probably the problem ( I don't like to take supplements and anyway they are just too expensive ). Can
anyone send me in any recommendations, recipes, ideas e.t.c???
Thanks.
